PROGRAM COSTS & FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILTY
Renewed Hope Ministries is committed to keeping our Christ-centered recovery program affordable and accessible to men who are ready to make a meaningful change in their lives. The financial responsibility for residents is $300 per month during the first six months of the program. After six months, when residents become eligible to obtain outside employment, the monthly program contribution increases to $500 per month.
This monthly contribution helps offset only a portion of the actual cost of providing each resident with a safe, structured and supportive place to live. It helps provide housing, meals, utilities, transportation, assistance with medication management and medical appointments, drug and alcohol testing, recovery and life-skills classes, Bible-based instruction, accountability, supervision, and the day-to-day operation of the program. Residents also participate in work assignments, household responsibilities, classes, meetings and service opportunities designed to develop responsibility, healthy routines and the practical skills needed for long-term recovery and independent living.
Renewed Hope is much more than room and board. Our program provides a structured, Christ-centered environment where men can step away from the circumstances surrounding their addiction and focus on rebuilding their lives. Through biblical principles, recovery education, accountability, work, service and fellowship, our goal is to help each resident develop the spiritual foundation, character and life skills necessary to successfully transition back into the community.
The increase to $500 per month after six months reflects an important stage of that transition. Once a resident reaches this point in the program, he may become eligible to work outside the ministry and begin taking greater financial responsibility for himself while continuing to benefit from the structure, accountability and support of Renewed Hope. This allows residents to practice employment, budgeting and personal responsibility while still living within a supportive recovery environment.
